nraj, are you trying to download bittorrent files? if so try to use a better client for download, and do port forwarding if you have a modem etc..download also deepends on your peer speed, from whom you are downloading.

I have already done what u have specified but i am unable to get download speeds upto 50 kBps.My Internet connection is 512 kBps.Earlier i was getting speed upto 50 onan average but i am not getting it now.What must be the problem?Anyone please help me…

I use Utorrent. Does anyone know where I can do this with them? I looked in Preferences, all of them, and found nothing that said “New Half-Open Limit.”

Any help is appreciated.

had a torrent running at 50kb/s… for some reason when i opened AVG it went up to 120.. wtf? any ideas?
