If you want more power (cost $$ of course), go for Diskeeper or PerfectDisk!

and many ppl out here are not ready to purchase every s/w

Just dropping in to say thanks for the tip. I downloaded this and ran the defragmentation. The results from the test showed that my disk would have a 20% performance improvement. I think the perceived speed now after the defrag is even more than this. All that sluggishness on my machine is gone. Thanks again.
