Google Chrome – How to Browse Privately

Google Chrome Browser from Google is finally released. It is available for download in about 100 languages.

Google chrome has got many features. It has a very interesting feature called Incognito. It is a similar feature to InPrivate in IE8 and more commonly known as porn made that allows you to browse the web privately, and no information related to your browsing will be saved in your computer.

If you are browsing in Incognito mode then what ever cookies, URL history, web pages, all if them get deleted when you close the browser.

Google Browser – Google Chrome is releasing soon

Google is now coming with its own Open Source Browser called “Google Chrome”. It will be released on 2nd September US Time.

NiharsWorld August 2008 Stat not better than July :(

From Last month, I started a post mentioning Monthly Statistics and Earnings of my website. Following is August 2008 Statistics: 43,838 Visits, 98,980 Pageviews

  • Search Engines – 33,413 (76.22%) visits
  • Direct Traffic – 7,139 (16.28%) visits
  • Referring Sites – 3,286 (7.50%) visits

Traffic in August is not good compared to July. Search engine traffic in July was 75%. This month, it is 76.22% :) I am still doing very bad in Referring Sites. Need to get lot of backlinks from others :(

Internet Explorer 8 Beta 2 was released a one week back. It has got many new interesting features and improvements compared to IE7. As IE8 is Beta version, it has lot of bugs and people have been complaining about crashes and high memory usage.

I tried it, but didn’t like it much as it is still a beta version. I uninstalled it.

For those who want to get rid of Internet Explorer 8, Below is how you can uninstall IE8 in Windows XP and Vista.

How to Uninstall Internet Explorer 8 in Windows XP

Uninstallation of IE8 in Windows XP is the old traditional way of going to Add or Remove Programs in Control Panel and selecting IE8 from there to remove it.

How to Uninstall Internet Explorer 8 in Windows Vista

In Windows Vista, Internet Explorer 8 is not installed as a program but an update for Windows. Since IE8 is not available there by default in Installed Programs, follow the steps below to uninstall it:

  • Open Control Panel and click Programs
  • Then click Programs and Features
  • From the left side menu, click View Installed Updates
  • Select Windows Internet Explorer 8 and Uninstall it.

IE8 will revert back to the default Internet Explorer 7 in Vista.
