Gmail can be skinned with colors and themes!
Most of us might have been observed that Gmail has introduced themes to get a new look to Gmail. I think most of them are now bored of Gmail with same old look (sky blue color).
You can now switch to one of the 30 themes available through the Themes settings.
I was surprised to see this yesterday evening when i opened my mail box.
You can change your Gmail themes through your Settings page:
- Just look on the top right corner. you will see Themes link.
- Select one of the themes to change the look of your Gmail
Choose any one of the above!

The themes are awesome. Google gave a surprise to all of them this morning. Apart from the themes for Gmail it also launched SearchWiki. Check out my post below on how it works!

This is quite nice. I like the ’shiny’ theme. Thinking about GMail, I wonder if these guys will ever get out of ‘beta’. It must be years now already.

Though the Gmail themes are nice ,I prefer my default Gmail theme ,I have to do nothing with these themes as I have slow net connection that even worse the case of loading of Gmail,this is my personal opinion only.

@Chetan, I don’t think so, it is still faster than yahoo or other mail services.

I have found that themes have increased load time of Gmail.

@ArpiNext I am getting delay when loading Default Gmail theme it self ,Gmail Loading fater with themes it really amuses me.
Some of the themes and links color is irritating. I don’t like a few themes and stick to the default version.

It seems interesting, but I always check my gmail with ms outlook so the themes don’t matter

@Deca, hmm. i have never used outlook to check gmail. Need to try it.
You can use http://toolbar.google.com/gmai.....Config.exe to setup your gmail account at ms outlook

I like it. I change the theme every week to get a different feel. Sort of like changing up furniture in the house. You know, you just get tired of the same ‘ol thing all the time. Kudos google…
