Nihar… it’s been only few months and I have seen such contests many no. of times. A contest should be like a contest. I don’t think asking some one to subscribe to their blog just for winning prizes, changes the whole fun of an actual contest.
@Arun, I don’t agree with you.
let me give one example. If you are entering a contest which is coming up on a TV. What do you do? You send sms’s. Who pays for that sms? Same way there should be some benefit to the author of the blog.

Nihar.. I think you got me wrong! I’m not against to Contests. I luv to participate and also to organize contests. A contest should be like a contest… wht’s the fun in asking someone to subscribe just for the sake of it…?
