Kaspersky does come highly rated, and I’ve been having some virus issues lately whilst using the free version of AVG, so maybe this is a good time to take up the free offer. What happens after the six months though?
@Seoman, AVG is good but, i don’t think it can remove nasty viruses. Kaspersky is good in that sense.
After 6 months, need to pay for it to continue…
First time I hearing about Kaspersky. I have been using Avast Anti-Virus from past few years & so far I never had any problems. ANH, I will think of giving a try for Kasper.

I agree with Prasanna. Avast is one of the best for personal computers. Moreover, it comes free for personal use. So, No Licensing issues.

I have been using kaspersky antivirus ( one month free ) since 2nd sept., 2009 . It is an excellent antivirus , since any new intruder e.g. pendrive , memory chip , CD , DVD etc. it will automatically start checking virus, which I have never experienced , for the past one year, with MCAFE ANTIVIRUS . Would U please mail me kaspersky antivirus with six months license . Thanking U in anticipation .
