Here I have to agree with you. I only use ‘free’ anti-virus software. I have used quite a few different ones and somehow I keep on coming back to AVG.
Lyndis last blog post..Those little WordPress date graphics
@Lyndi, Me too. If i don’t have norton, kaspersky. then i use this AVG because it is good and most importantly “FREE”.
Nihar i love to use free anti viruses. I’m using MCAfee which you shared last time.
Nihar,
There is no link to download anchor.

@TechZoomIn, Great. I am using Kaspersky right now. But soon it will expire then i will jump on to AVG.
I just tried AVG. I think it’s the best free antivirus
Decas last blog post..Creative Labs Live! Cam Video IM Ultra 1.3MP Webcam
@Deca, Yeah it is best in free antivirus category
That is the very impression that I am under. However Jonny suggested looking at Avira from http://www.free-av.com and I am intrigued to hear what your opinion is, Mr Nihar.
Thanks for a really useful blog. You got some good value going here.
@G Web, I am not sure about this new antivirus. I haven’t used it so cannot comment on it
I’m already using one right now.
Paul Us last blog post..Announcing my contest
@Paul U, I am using it on my spare Laptop.
Good Day Sir!
I want to thank you for the download link. I am really looking for some free but nice tool for “basic” virus protection.
Tnomeralc Web Toyss last blog post..Efren Pe
@Tnomeralc, You are most welcome. I hope AVG works fine for you!
AVG is good but I prefer Avira from http://www.free-av.com/
It has had better detection rates than avg for years but you have to put up with an upgrade your protection add when it updates.
I’ve been using AVG for the past three years, better detection rates is something I like to hear. I will go check out Avira. Your tip is much appreciated, Jonny.
thanks for this wonderful reviews
