Download YouTube videos using Youtube Downloader
In the past, i published a post to show you Different ways to download videos from Youtube. Today, i was going through Download.com and found a software tool called Youtube Downloader.
The name tells you what does this tool do. After you download and install it. You can Download any Youtube video you want.

Nice one! The only issue with YouTube is its ability to really gobble up your MegaBytes super quick, and before you know it your bandwidth allocation has been exceeded and you need to purchase more.
@G Web, You are right. But if you are on unlimited connection that you need not worry.
In South Africa, there are limited internet packages?
Unfortunately there is no such thing as unlimited connectivity in South Africa. The average packages are about 3GB for 300-00 ZAR.
There are currently several undersea cable projects , connecting South Africa to Europe and Asia, which will bring down costs considerably.

Thanks for this useful tool. I just downloaded and testing now… Wonder how they will behave to those 18+ videos where age proof and/or authentication is required. Will tell after test-verifying the tool.
PS: By the way, some stupid ad script (or something else) is showing the following message on the status bar while browsing your blog ‘Your Marriage Proposal is Waiting!’
@Ajith, If that happens again can you send the screenshot. I haven’t added any ad which will modify the Status bar.
By the way, while testing this tool I also found my latest real audio software in action. It has a ‘save as’ option for all videos that you are viewing online including youtube.

I used this tool before. It was so simple yet effective. A great desktop tool. User friendly interface that even non techie person can use.
Also, other online tools are available for downloading video files.

thanks for this! i’ve been looking for a way to download stuff from youtube because there are some songs which i can’t find an mp3 of, but are in youtube. so i figured i’ll just convert the video file to an mp3 or something. thanks!

I am new to the blog commenting realm. I have always read blogs to find useful information but have recently started leaving comments to build up my linking campiaign. I only leave quality comments on the topic of the blog and I believe what I add to the discussion is useful. However, I have noticed that most of my comments never show up. I wish someone would go into detail about what spamming a blog is. Maybe, I am doing something wrong. I think knowing the rules could be benificial to a lot of people.

Thanks for the post. I’ve downloaded and tried it out. What I particularly like is the auto-detection when copying a youtube link into the clipboard.
What I don’t like is the two steps required to convert the resulting video.
1.) download to a file
2.) find it then convert
I find myself converting youtube videos to mp3 most of the time and use this 1-step tool http://www.iloudly.com/youtube_mp3_converter/
It could use a auto-detection of youtube links though.
