flv player is great for watching simple videos but when I find something I like I just convert it to .avi. It’s just a lot more universal file type – you don’t need any special software to play it.

It’s got to be either VLC or the k-lite media pack with media player classic for me… they both play anything for free.

Bandwidth restrictions is the bane of my existence, and I can not download and enjoy flash movies and MP4′s as I’d like, so I don’t really have anything installed apart from Windows Media Player.
