As always, it is start of the month and i am here again to Share Blog Traffic & Income statistics for April 2009.

Following is April 2009 Traffic Break Down:
- 96,040 Total Visits, 219,422 Total Pageviews

Referring Sites traffic breakdown (Top 3):
- indiasphere.net – 1,069 visits
- zimbio.com – 311 visits
- stumbleupon.com – 219 visits
If you check previous Blog Traffic & Income statistics, you will see one common problem. Referring Sites traffic is still low. There is no improvement 
. Does any body know how to increase the backlinks there by increasing the referring sites traffic?
The Search Engine traffic is 74.29% 
and Direct Traffic has also increased.
Money made on this blog for April 2009
- Google Adsense : 200.54$
- InfoLinks : 21.52$ – I replaced Kontera with Infolinks and seen a big improvement in the earnings. Almost 4-5 times more. I am happy with this.
- Axill Ads : 15.00$
- Private advertisement : One ad was booked @ 3$
Total money made : 240.06$
Things happened on this blog in April 2009 :
- In last week of April, I found a new WordPress Plugin – Smart Links Plugin to increase blog internal linking. Do check it. It is recommended for SEO.

It is because of recession going on in the world. Well you know Nihar, I have around 15-20% referral, while 70% google and remaining direct.
@Hitesh, Your referral traffic is great. I need to improve on it by posting some good posts.
The traffic from the search engines is just marvelous. You must be doing something right. Well done and keep it up.

You’ve got lots of visits, but the earnings should be a bit higher for so much traffic. $200 is nothing to be sneezed at though, it can go a long way towards staving off hunger, especially if one converts it to your local currency. Good luck for May, Nihar!

I must say you have impressive traffic statistics but your earnings are pretty less in comparison to the traffic you getting. I think less no. of adsense unit is a reason.

Nice traffic stats but I cite a problem in the earnings part.Bloggers with 30,000 visitors earn $250 roughly,so your earnings based on the traffic should be around $750 or Rs 30,000.
