Quite right! I wonder what version 3.0 will bring! I saw the offering of SquareSpace earlier. What is your take on their offering? Maybe a post about it will be in order?

2.8.3 seems to have some other bugs like “not being able to move widgets” etc. Its better to skip this update and wait for the next one.

I upgraded and had no problems at all. I know a few users had issues. I guess there are still errors for some while others have it easy

The release of Wordpress 2.8.3 was unexpected but looking at the no of bugs and error wordpress 2.8.1 and 2.8.2 had, It was much expected update. And the WordPress juggernaut keeps rolling on. I’m actually battling to keep up with all the updates, I just downloaded 2.8.2 over the weekend. Security is a must though, so obviously the speed of the new updates release is due to a pressing need. The great thing is that the crooks hardly get a chance to exploit any vulnerabilities.
