As always, it is start of the month and i am here again to Share Blog Traffic & Income statistics for August 2009.
Here is August 2009 Monthly Statistics and Earnings of this blog.
Following is August 2009 Traffic Break Down:
- 37,652 Total Visits, 62,100 Total Pageviews
Referring Sites traffic breakdown (Top 3):
- indianpad.com – 269 visits
- images.google.co.in – 220 visits
- images.google.com – 206 visits
426 Visits are from Google Image Search

If you check previous Blog Traffic & Income statistics, you will see one common problem. Referring Sites traffic is still low. There is no improvement 
. Does any body know how to increase the backlinks there by increasing the referring sites traffic?
The Search Engine traffic is 79.87% (Exactly same as August 2009 Stats) and Direct Traffic is 11.74%.
Money made on this blog for August 2009
- Google Adsense : 125.25$
- InfoLinks : 33.99$ – I replaced Kontera with Infolinks and seen a big improvement in the earnings. Almost 4-5 times more. I am happy with this.
- Axill Ads : 7.50$
Total money made : 166.74$. It has improved a litte better than June, but still low

@Rarst, WIth your current traffic you can also make. Do spend some time in optimizing theme and ads placement.

Sweet man; just did a quick check I can see your ranking well for live sports terms; I would suggest at the end of those category (OIO has an built in option to do this) You add a affill offer in; such as watch live tv online etc etc Think that may work well for you.

I am jealous, I got $1 in august from AdSense, and that is the only thing I use. I got 13000 views on one page, that page made $1. So I need other 165 in September

The traffic is most impressive – I am thinking that with traffic like that you should be pulling in more dollars. Have you thought of having paid ads on the site? You know, so much for an ad of a certain size placed in a certain spot, etc. You have the traffic to warrant that kind of advertising.
I am also curious … how long have you had this blog up? I suspect that this is not your only blog and that the others might be pulling in more $$$.

Take a look at http://www.johnchow.com/
Granted, John’s traffic is significantly higher but take at look at his advertising tab. You could start with something like that at a lower per ad rate because your traffic is not yet up there. I think in one of his postings John said that the ads on his site were the major contributors to his $40K + per month income.
