    Microsoft has revealed the Official Retail price of Microsoft Office 2010 – the next version of popular business productivity software. Two months back, Microsoft released Microsoft Office 2010 Beta for public download.

    Microsoft Office 2010 will be categorized as:

    • Office 2010 Home and Business
    • Office 2010 Professional
    • Office 2010 Home and Student
    • Office 2010 Professional Academic

    Office 2010 suites retail prices:

    • Office 2010 Professional: $499 (Box version) or $349 (Product Key only)
    • Office 2010 Home and Business: $279 (Box version) or $199 (Product Key only)

    • Office 2010 Professional Academic: $99 (Box version)

    MS Office 2010 is scheduled to be officially released on June 2010.

    1. OpenOffice does it for me! Microsoft’s model od paid-for software is going to be severely challenged as the open source offerings just continue to get better and better.
