    Gmail has launched a new ‘Priority Inbox’ feature – To prioritize emails of your overloaded mailbox

    Gmail has launched its another best feature Priority inbox . This is most useful for users of gmail who receives lot of mails daily, and doesn’t have time to search and sort the important mails. The Priority Inbox feature of Gmail automatically prioritize your emails based on your settings like who sent the mail and the terms in email which you like. Google will automatically does this when you click ‘mark as important’ or ‘mark or not important’.

    Click on upper right corner of Gmail, following screen will appear.

    Default inbox allows you to choose what groups of messages that you like to show in Priority inbox.

    Priority Inbox sections allows you to customize with options of 1.Important and unread 2.Starred 3. Empty 4. Everything else.

    Filters:Gmail respects your previous filters settings. If you select the radio button override filters even from inbox gmail displays the message in inbox based on your priorities. Otherwise if you don’t want to touch the gamil to your previous filter settings just select the radio button Don’t override filters.

    Select the radio button show priority inbox if you want to use the feature priority inbox. If you don’t want to use priority inbox feature select Do not show priority inbox.

    So, use Priority inbox feature of gmail and prioritize your overloaded mail box.
