Yesterday, Sony has released PS3 update 3.42. This came as a surprise as there was no indication prior to the release that there would be an firmware update for Playstation 3 (version 3.42).
Sony has not even mentioned that whats in the PS3 Update 3.42. From the early updaters who ran this update, We came to know that this firmware update “kills the functionality of all the recent major PS3 exploits such as PSJailbreak, PSGroove, etc.”
It is a big setback for all those PlayStation 3 Users who have jailbreak their PS3.
