    Steps to unhide the missing Start Menu Search Box in Windows 7

    Go to Run (win+R) command and enter services.msc.

    Then Windows 7 services list will be displayed. Find the service Windows Search. Right click on the Windows Search and click on Restart.

      Great post, I had no clue there were that many avenues to chose when finding the missing the Start Menu. My computer always had a specific key for it on the keyboard.
