    Ranjana Sonawane, aged 40 years of West Maharashtra received India’s first AADHAAR Number. Sonawane along with other ten Tribals of Tembhli village, which is around 505 km from north of Mumbai collected the India’s first Biometric UID AADHAAR Number. Prime Minister Mr. Manmohan Singh and Sonia Gandhi handed over the Numbers.

    This scheme for the common man is a symbol of new and modern India, Now you will get the benefit (of government schemes) that you didn’t get so far.

    UID will give the poor the right to all government schemes, especially in places like Nandurbar where tribal people still don’t benefit from welfare schemes.

    First AADHAAR number of Ranjita Sonwane is 782474317884. Only 12 digits of 16 digits are revealed. Other 4 digits will be kept secret for official purpose. AADHAAR Project fulfills the need of Unique Identification of all Indian Citizens. Any Indian Citizen can apply and get AADHAAR Number.
