    BCCI lost cases to Rajasthan Royals and Kings XI Punjab and they have decided not to move to Supreme court. They also included Kochi after the famous KochiGate controversy over sweat equity shares. Due to this, Now we have confirmed news that there will be 10 Teams in IPL 2011 and in total 74 matches which will be held after ICC World Cup 2011. It is good otherwise we would have seen worn out players performing in ICC event.

    It is strange and surprising to see Rahul Dravid, Anil Kumble, Sourav Ganguly not being retained by their respective Franchise.

    There is an advantage by retraining players, They have lot of money in the IPL Auction. Those teams who have players like Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings will have very limited money to buy out players.
