    How to Install Android 2.3.2 Update on Google Nexus S


    Android 2.3.2 for Nexus S was released by Google. This Android update includes a fix to SMS bug which used to send SMS’es to unknown contacts. Android 2.3.2 Build GRH78C update will be an OTA update. But, if your Nexus S didn’t alert you then you can still update to Android 2.3.2 by following the below steps.

    Steps to Install Android 2.3.2 on Google Nexus S

    1. Download Android 2.3.2 update for Nexus S from this link.
    2. Copy the downloaded file to the root of the SD Card.
    3. Switch off the mobile phone and Hold down the Volume Up key and then the power button to Switch it on.
    4. Now navigate to Recovery using Up and Down keys.
    5. Use the Power button to select it.
    6. You should see an exclamation like symbol on the screen, hold down the Power and Volume Up buttons.
    7. Doint the above will go into Android system recovery menu.
    8. Now select “apply update from /sdcard”
    9. Now browse the root directory of SD Card and Find the update (GRH78C-from-GRH78) and use the Power button again to select it.
    10. Be patient, Wait for the update process to complete.
    11. After the update is completed, select “reboot system now” after the process.
