    Hybrid Boot is a new feature in Microsoft Windows 8 Milestone 1 (build 7850). This feature allows users to reduce startup / Shutdown times.

    In Windows 8, the startup time from the time PC is booted is significantly improved. If Hybrid Boot is enabled, restart behavior of your computer remains un-affected.

    1. Go to Start -> Control Panel.
    2. Open Hardware and Sound > Power Options.
    3. click on “Choose what the power button does”.
    4. then, click on “Change settings that are currently unavailable”.
    5. Go to the bottom and select enable or disable hybrid boot.
