Gmail team has come up with another innovative idea. Now you can send the google mail in background. That means after you press the send button you need not wait few seconds idle until the mail has been dispatched. That time you can spend your precious time in checking another mails, chatting, composing another mail etc. I liked this feature, if you too want this feature for your gmail account, simply do the following settings.

Settings to Send Gmail in Background

Go to the Gmail Labs. Select Enable radio button at Background Send option and then click on save changes in the bottom. Have a look at the following screen shot.

Points to remember while sending mail in Background

Let the session (Window / tab) is active until the mail is sent. Otherwise your mail will not be sent. You cannot simply initiate the mails sending and shut down the system.

Make sure that all the recipients mail ids should be correct. Other wise you will see the warning message at the top corner. Please observe the above image.

We’ve been trying out Background Send for a while here at Google, and we like it a lot. We hope you like it too, and we hope it gives you back a little bit of your day!
