    HTC One Technical Specifications, Features, Price and Availability


    Taiwan’s HTC Corp has launched a new new smartphone HTC One. It hopes to create buzz in the Google Android mobile market space. The smart phone is expected to take the competition to Samung Electronics Co Ltd and Apple Inc. Hope it creates flutter.

    HTC One was formerly known as “M7”. It comes with a powerful Quad-core 1.7 GHz Krait 300 processor with Adreno 320 and 2 GB of RAM. The new HTC One has a 4.7-inch full HD screen, making it larger than the iPhone but smaller than some other Android phones, including HTC’s own 5-inch Droid DNA, which launched in November. The HTC One has the same screen resolution as the larger phone, at 1920 by 1080 pixels. The display also resists scratches and reduces glare, whilst offering 468ppi resolution.

    It runs on Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean and is expected to get updates for 4.2.2. It supports 32GB or 64 GB memory. Supports connectivity like LTE, NFC, Wi-Fi a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4 and GPS with GLONASS.

    1. HTC BlinkFeed feature: BlinkFeed feature replaces app icons and widgets on the home screen with a personalised stream of social networking updates, news articles, weather, photos and video. These tiles get updated automatically with information and news from social networking sites and other news sites. HTC’s BlinkFeed interface consists of large tiles that update automatically with information and photos from news sites and social networks.
    2. HTC UltraPixel Camera: a new imaging technology.The UltraPixel sensor is engineered with larger pixels, and it is touted to enable each pixel to capture more than 300 per cent more light than most leading 13 megapixel cameras. This is because the larger each pixel on the image sensor is, the more light it receives, and hence the image data becomes better. Users will be able to quickly shoot vivid, true-to-life images with a wide range of colors, even in low light conditions. The company has not increased the number of megapixels in the camera, but has engineered a more advanced CMOS Sensor, ISP, and optical lens system that is claimed to capture significantly more light than most 8 or 13 megapixel cameras.

Connectivity: Its connectivity options include – 3.5 mm stereo audio jack, NFC, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, DLNA for wirelessly streaming media from the phone to a compatible TV or computer, support consumer infrared remote control, micro-USB 2.0 (5-pin) port with mobile high-definition video link (MHL) for USB or HDMI connection.
    7. LTE network technology: It will offer blazingly-fast browsing. Available in stunning silver and beautiful black, the sleek and crafted aluminium unibody is touted to sits comfortably in the hand.

    HTC One will be released in 185 countries around the world by the end of March.
