In 1st week of September, Google Chrome was released. It created a huge amount of excitement on the web. But, the happy users were those who used Windows operating systems. Google Chrome was not released for Mac and Linux platforms.
Google will soon release Google Chrome for Mac and Linux versions.
Using Chrome’s codebase, developers at CodeWeavers have created CrossOver Chromium, which is a Mac and Linux port of the open source Chromium web browser. It runs the Windows version of Chromium natively on both Mac and Linux.
CrossOver Chromium is a Mac and Linux port of the open source Chromium web browser. CrossOver Chromium is available for download from CodeWeavers, free of charge.

Gears for Safari is now officially available
For all savvy mac users… Google has released Gears for Safari Browser.

To use Gears, you must have version 3.1.1 or higher of Safari along with a machine running the most recent build of OS X 10.4 (Tiger) or 10.5.3 (Leopard).
It offers the same offline-goodness as its Windows counterpart, which is to say you’ll get limited offline file access and optimization on the handful of Web applications that support it.
The bad news is Gears is still not available for Windows version of Safari.
It is good news for all Mac users who blog on Wordpress platform because Google gears is supported by Wordpress.

Google Chrome Browser from Google is finally released. It can available for download in about 100 languages.
Google chrome has got many features. It has a very interesting feature called Incognito. It is a similar feature to InPrivate in IE8 and more commonly known as porn made that allows you to browse the web privately, and no information related to your browsing will be saved in your computer.
If you are browsing in Incognito mode then what ever cookies, URL history, web pages. All get deleted when you close the browser.
