Opera is one of the best Browsers in the market. Opera 10 is the latest browser version.

Today Opera has released Opera 10 RC (Release Candidate). It uses Presto 2.2 rendering engine.

After few days or in a month, Opera will release officially Opera 10.

Mozilla has released an update. Firefox 3.5.2 is the latest Firefox which fixes security and stability issues.

It is recommended to all to upgrade to Firefox 3.5.2 as it is a security update which fixes lot of issues. Check the Release Notes

Guys here is a good news for all Mozilla Firefox fanatics. Firefox 3.7 will now have a Aero Glass look under Windows Vista and Windows 7. If you have used IE 8, you would know what Aero Glass makes your browser look.

The Aero Glass look can be seen in Firefox 3.7 because, it will support Aero theme for Firefox under Windows XP, Vista and 7.

1. Type about:config address bar of Firefox browser and hit enter. It will give you a warning. Just click the button “I’ll be careful, I promise!” and proceed…
   
2. It will show a huge list of values. Now, right click any where in the free white-space on the screen and click on New –> Boolean, then name the Boolean as checkCompatibility – make it false in the next step.
3. again right click and click on New -> Boolean and name as checkUpdateSecurity and choose false.
4. After doing this changes to get the changes applied, Restart the Firefox browser. Now install the addon that was not supported or compatible by Firefox 3.5 and install it.
5. Restart the Firefox browser once again. Now, the not compatible addon will work with Firefox 3.4

Yesterday, I mentioned that Google has released Chrome for Mac OS and Linux.

Today, Apple has released Safari 4 Browser for Mac and Windows. Its a great news for Windows. All these days, Windows users were just thinking on How fast Safari Browser would be? Google has made the availability of web browser, Google Chrome, for Mac OS X and Linux. It is not an official release. It is official developer release of Chrome. It is for testing purposes.

But, from this we can say that they will come with official release soon.

Chrome was released last year in September and they also informed that they will release it for Mac OS and Linux too in future.

Most of us bookmark websites so that we can jump on to the website quickly. But, what if you have organized your bookmarks that have 10-20 categories each having 10-20 websites in it.

The time taken to browse through the bookmarks menu and select a particular website is more than typing the website address.

SiteLauncheris a Firefox add-on which can turn your bookmarks into shortcuts. Site Launcher lets you replace your bookmarks toolbar with a window of links that can be opened using a simple keyboard shortcut. It gives you a super-quick way to open your favorite websites that you use often throughout the day by using only your keyboard. One special hotkey brings up the Launcher (shown below), followed by a unique key to launch a site. You pick which sites you want on the list, and a one-letter keyboard shortcut is given to each.

For example, i have added these sites – Google, Gmail, NiharsWorld, and IBNLive.com to SiteLauncher – what sites to include is entirely up to you. CTRL + SPACE will popup the transparent window with links. Then you just need to type shortcut key to launch the website. Check my list below.

When you install the extension. It comes with a some of popular sites built in. You can delete or add your favorite ones on your own. You also have several color and menu style options including setting the maximum number of columns you want, and how transparent the window is.

In 1st week of September, Google Chrome was released. It created a huge amount of excitement on the web. But, the happy users were those who used Windows operating systems. Google Chrome was not released for Mac and Linux platforms.

Google will soon release Google Chrome for Mac and Linux versions.

Using Chrome’s codebase, developers at CodeWeavers have created CrossOver Chromium, which is a Mac and Linux port of the open source Chromium web browser. It runs the Windows version of Chromium natively on both Mac and Linux.

For all savvy mac users… Google has released Gears for Safari Browser.

To use Gears, you must have version 3.1.1 or higher of Safari along with a machine running the most recent build of OS X 10.4 (Tiger) or 10.5.3 (Leopard).

It offers the same offline-goodness as its Windows counterpart, which is to say you’ll get limited offline file access and optimization on the handful of Web applications that support it.

The bad news is Gears is still not available for Windows version of Safari.

It is good news for all Mac users who blog on Wordpress platform because Google gears is supported by Wordpress.

Google Chrome Browser from Google is finally released. It is available for download in about 100 languages.

Google chrome has got many features. It has a very interesting feature called Incognito. It is a similar feature to InPrivate in IE8 and more commonly known as porn made that allows you to browse the web privately, and no information related to your browsing will be saved in your computer.
