IPL 2010 Cricket Schedule, Match Timings, Teams, Venues and Stadiums

From last two years, around March / April the most happening thing in India is IPL ( Indian Premier League ).

Two days back, Auction of Players was done in Mumbai by the IPL Team Franchise owners for the IPL 3 Season.

IPL 3 will be held in 2010. There was lot of controversies raised due to non-selection of Pakistan players.

IPL 2009 or IPL 2 was hosted in South Africa due to Elections in India. But, this year IPL 2010 will be played in India.

IPL 2010 will kick off from March 12th, 2010 and ends on April 25th, 2010. There will be 60 matches played in IPL 2010 in the span of 44 days.

There are Eight Teams in IPL Season 3. Each team will be playing twice with other teams. Meaning each team will play 14 matches. I think that is too much. Isn’t?

  4. Kings XI Punjab
  5. Kolkata Knight Riders
  6. Mumbai Indians
  7. Rajasthan Royals

IPL 3 Season is going to be played in new venues compared to IPL Season 1. In total 4 new venues have been added. Now IPL 3 will be played in 12 different venues. Jaipur, Rajasthan won’t be hosting due Spat between Lalit Modi and Rajasthan government :)
