<p><strong>Have you ever thought that you can actually record your visitors activities on your website?</strong></p>
<p><strong>ClickTale</strong></p>
<blockquote><p>Record visitors&#8217; every action as they browse your website. Watch movies to understand visitor behavior, gain valuable insights and improve your website&#8217;s usability.</p></blockquote>
<p><center><a href="http://www.clicktale.com/" target="_blank"><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-288" title="clicktale-record-watch-understand" src="http://www.niharsworld.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/06/clicktale-record-watch-understand.jpg" alt="ClickTale - Record - Watch - Understand" width="333" height="91" /></a></center></p>
<p>Let me first put some details about traditional Web Analytics websites, then will proceed with details on ClickTale<br />
There are many many website trackers but most of them can just track the following:<br />
<span id="more-287"></span></p>
<ul>
<li>Came From : From where the visitor has come to your site (Site Referrer)</li>
<li>Visitors Path : Your website webpage navigations</li>
<li>Keyword Analysis: Search Engine Keywords</li>
</ul>
<p>Some of the traditional Web analytics websites that offer good service for free are<br />
<a href="http://www.statcounter.com" target="_blank">StatCounter</a> | <a href="http://www.sitemeter.com" target="_blank">SiteMeter</a> | <a href="http://www.google.com/analytics/" target="_blank">Google Analytics</a>.</p>
<p>I use statcounter. Which analytics do you use? Leave a comment&#8230;</p>
<p><strong>ClickTale &#8211; Record &#8211; Watch &#8211; Understand : </strong></p>
<p>ClickTale is different with the traditional web analytics. It provides information about individual visitor’s behavior. This is a must for those who want to analyze their visitor&#8217;s activities on the website. With this you can actually find out what visitors does as soon as they land on your website. With this data you can fine tune your website and make changes.</p>
<p><center><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-289" title="what-clicktale-has-to-offer" src="http://www.niharsworld.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/06/what-clicktale-has-to-offer.jpg" alt="What ClickTale has to offer" width="500" height="255" /></center></p>
<p>ClickTale offers both free and paid plan. I am subscribed to the free plan. Under free plan, you can do 100 recordings per week. You can check the <a href="http://www.clicktale.com/personal_pricing.aspx" target="_blank">pricing page</a> for paid plan. I would suggest first you get a free plan see how it goes if you like it and want more recordings then go for a paid plan.</p>
<p>I actually wanted to upload my site recording uploaded in <a href="http://www.youtube.com" target="_blank">youtube</a> so that you can check it here. But just now found out that my recordings are deleted because i have logged into the site after a long time <img src='http://www.niharsworld.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_sad.gif' alt=':(' class='wp-smiley' title="Record Visitors activity on your website ClickTale" /> </p>
<p>ClickTale is an interesting service. If you want please signup and leave comments.</p>

Most of the bloggers / webmasters use some kind of tool to keep track of visitors.
I am using StatCounter, Google Analytics and a very interesting and exciting widget by Amung.us.
Following are the two widgets i use and i am sure that everybody who reads this post will start using it on thier blog/site

<p>Most of the bloggers / webmasters use some kind of tool to keep track of visitors.</p>
<p>I am using <a href="http://www.statcounter.com" title="StatCounter" target="_blank">StatCounter</a>, <a href="http://www.google.com/analytics/" title="Google Analytics" target="_blank">Google Analytics</a> and a very interesting and exciting widget by <a href="http://amung.us/" title="Amung.us" target="_blank">Amung.us</a>.</p>

<h3><span style="font-weight: bold">1) Who Widget : </span><a href="http://whos.amung.us/" target="_blank">whos.amung.us</a></h3>
<p>I started using <a href="http://whos.amung.us/" target="_blank">whos.amung.us</a> widget from December 2007. It is a nice small widget that shows the current users online. Check below.</p>
<p><center><a href="http://whos.amung.us/show/yixruh1b" target="_blank"><img src="http://whos.amung.us/cwidget/yixruh1b/ffc20e000000" alt="web tracker" border="0" height="29" width="81" title="Whos on your Site   Find on World Map in Real time" /></a></center><span id="more-76"></span><br />
You too can create for your blog or domain and keep it on the side bar. It is quick and easy to configure.Just go to <a href="http://whos.amung.us/" target="_blank">who.amung.us</a> and create a widget for your site.After you enter your site&#8217;s url in that site, It creates a <em><strong>8 digit unique code</strong></em> for you after that you can choose the color and size of the widget.It then generates a javascript snippet, just copy the code and put it in your site. I have put it in right sidebar.</p>
<h3><span style="font-weight: bold">2) Map Widget : <a href="http://maps.amung.us/" target="_blank">map.amung.us</a></span></h3>
<p>My Site&#8217;s map:</p>
<p><center><embed src="http://maps.amung.us/flash/flashsrv.php?k=yixruh1b&amp;type=emb.swf" quality="high" pluginspage="http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer" allowscriptaccess="always" allownetworking="all" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" flashvars="wausitehash=yixruh1b&amp;map=neosat&amp;pin=star-blue&amp;link=yes" height="230" width="420"></embed></center>It shows the world map and current users online plotted on it.Those who already have <span style="font-weight: bold">who.amung.us widget</span> can use the same unique key to get map.amung.us widget.Just go that page, select the map size, map style, visitor indicator and color.They claim that this is the first of its kind as <span style="font-weight: bold">Dynamic Map widget</span> that updates the visitor&#8217;s as they come in.</p>
<p><font color="#333333"><strong>The interesting feature are :</strong></font></p>
<ul>
<li>The Stars on the map show the locations from where the visitors have visited the site.</li>
<li>The circles that have small ripples indicate active users.</li>
<li>As soon as you see a circle with a ripple created it means a new visitor has visited your blog or site.</li>
</ul>
<p>It is really a great widget.</p>
<p>Look on the right side bar.Also check their other UI features at <a href="http://whos.amung.us/showcase" target="_blank">Showcase</a>
