Happy Birthday to NiharsWorld

An eventful year has passed by. Many events that reflect a myriad hues of the universe. Change of guard in the White House, eventful celestial events like solar eclipse and the geo-climatic changes. And lo! 2009 ends with a lunar eclipse.

But for us, the surfers it is all in a nutshell. We at Nihar’s World have been trying to keep abreast.

And all we say as we complete two years is ‘Let us explore more and let us enjoy more the marvels of modern technology… the internet.

The world is shrinking and is a global village already. Let us make it a global family.

NiharsWorld Blog now on Imagination Theme !

Few days back, I informed you that I Want to Change My Blog Theme. I had also asked for suggestions. Lot of loyal readers had given their suggestions. I was happy to see the response. From that day onwards, I was on the look out for a new theme.

As i was hunting down for a theme, I went through a lot of sites. But, I finally decided to go for Imagination Theme from CSS Jockey.

Big thanks to Shankar Bakshi ’s post where i came to know about Imagination Free Theme.

Its a beautiful and stylish theme. Its free and has got lot of settings that can be set from Dashboard.

After downloding the theme, it took me two full days of tweaking to CSS and migrate some of the things that i was using in old theme and wanted to use in this theme as well.

Do you like the new look in sidebar?

Hello to all, I have made some changes on the sidebar. If you are a regular visitor, you would have noticed it.

Following are the changes:

  • changed the background color from brown to white.
  • Each widget is surrounded in a rounded Box
  • Added Popular Post list (based on the number of hits)
  • Added Random Post list

On this day last year, we had started a new journey. It had not been a smooth ride from ThinkersOnMove (Blogspot blog) to NiharsWorld.com. Check this ThinkersOnMove is now NiharsWorld!
