Recently, I mentioned that Google released Chromium OS Open Sources Chrome/Chromium OS Code.

Already there are few people out there who have compiled and build the Google Chrome OS / Chromium OS.

It doesn’t take too much time in this dynamic internet world. I found out that the Google Chrome OS Image is already available on public torrent trackers. Chrome OS image or Chromium OS Image is available for download from torrents.

Google releases Chromium OS Open Sources Chrome/Chromium OS Code

Few months back, i have mentioned that Google is coming up with it’s own Operating System – Google Chrome OS.

Yesterday, Google released Google Chrome OS Open Source or Chromium OS Code.

After few months, Google has finally given some news regarding Google OS. They have now open source Chrome OS or Chromium OS code

NOTE: This is not an official Chrome OS launch. Chrome OS open source is opened to all so, that all developers around world can access the code and do some changes or add some enhancements and make it better.

They plan to launch Chromium OS in some time next year.

Today we are open-sourcing the project as Chromium OS. We are doing this early, a year before Google Chrome OS will be ready for users, because we are eager to engage with partners, the open source community and developers. As with the Google Chrome browser, development will be done in the open from this point on. This means the code is free, accessible to anyone and open for contributions. The Chromium OS project includes our current code base, user interface experiments and some initial designs for ongoing development. This is the initial sketch and we will color it in over the course of the next year.

About one month back, I mentioned about Google Chrome OS. Google has some plans on releasing their own Operating System.

An anonymous person sent some images to Download Squad today. The images are leaked screenshots of Google Chrome OS.

Google’s own Operating System – Google Chrome OS

Its a breaking news!!! Google will be soon coming up with its own Operating System. It will be called Google Chrome OS.

It may become a big competition to Microsoft. If it becomes a hit. Time will tell what happens.

This Google’s Operating System News has spread all over the internet. Google initially came up with Google Chrome Browser. Now, they are working on an entire Operating System.
