After Google launching Nexus One Phone, Most of the people in India were looking to see the Nexus One Phone in India as well.

The good news is….

Google will be launching a smaller version of Nexus One called Nexus One Mini. It will be a pocked sized Google Phone. It can be easily carried in the Pocket.

The executive of Google India, Mr. Shailesh Rao told CNBC TV 18 representative Mr. Ankit. After an editorial meet with Google India Head, Mr. Ankit informed this via a tweet on twitter.

“Nexus One will not come to India in its US avatar, the India specific Google Phone may be a stripped down version and priced lower!”

Google didn’t introduce the US version of Nexus One in India. May be Google is targeting to capture a niche in Indian smart phone market and its main aim to offer the phones at affordable price.

After Google released a Gmail Feature – Google Buzz, there were lots of mixed reactions. Lot of users didn’t like Google Buzz in their Gmail Boxes. They wanted to Turn Off Google Buzz.

Couple of days back, Google released new feature in Gmail Inbox called Google Buzz. It is introduced to add Social Networking Features built into Gmail. It is done to compete with Twitter and Facebook.

Not all users would love to have this new feature – Google Buzz bothering them in their Gmail Inboxes. I also shared a tip for these users on Disable / Turn off Google Buzz.

What if you don’t want to Turn Off Buzz but, just move all Google Buzz notications out of Gmail Inbox. If that is your case then, read below…

Any Google Buzz notification in Gmail will match the Gmail query label:buzz. It means you could actually setup a GMail Filter to keep all Google Buzz notifications out of the Inbox.

How to Filter Buzz Notifications from your Gmail Inbox:

1. Login to your Gmail Inbox and Click on Create a filter link in Gmail (you can find on the right hand tip corner).
   

   Click on Create Filter link

2. You will see the some text boxes, In “Has the words” text box, enter label:buzz and Click on Next Step. You may get a warning, just click OK Button
   
3. Now, tick the checkbox Skip the Inbox (Archive it) and the click the Create Filter button.

You are done. From now Gmail inbox will show Google Buzz.

Aaron Boodman is the developer of Greasemonkey Firefox Addon. He announced that now Google Chrome 4 supports Greasemonkey natively.

It means you now can add 40,000 more extensions in Chrome 4 Browser. User Scripts has 40,000 odd Greasemonkey scripts.

Boodman estimates that between 15 and 25 percent of Greasemonkey scripts won’t work on Chrome because of coding differences between Google’s browser and Firefox.

Just few days back, Google released Google Chrome 4 Browser.

Now, Google has come up with Google Chrome 5. It is not a final release. It is a Developer Build – Beta release. Chrome 5 version is Chrome v5.0.307.1.

As per the rumored sources, Google OS netbook is expected to be priced around $300.

Now it is YouTube’s turn. YouTube have introduced its own URL Shortener service – Youtu.be. It will be used only for YouTube videos.

These days there are lots of URL shortening websites are coming up. URL shortening reduce the long URL’s into shorter URL’s. The service which can make the shortest URL are becoming popular.

What is DNS?

DNS stands for Domain Name System. It is a protocol use to map website address to IP Addresses which Computers can understand. It serves as the Internet’s phone book: every time you visit a website, your computer performs a DNS lookup. Complex pages often require multiple DNS lookups before they start loading, so your computer may be performing hundreds of lookups a day.

The best Public DNS Service right now that i know is OpenDNS. I am using it right now for my Broadband connection. It is very fast. I will check Google’s Global Public DNS and will compare the DNS lookup.

NOTE: This is not an official Chrome OS launch. Chrome OS open source is opened to all so, that all developers around world can access the code and do some changes or add some enhancements and make it better.

They plan to launch Chromium OS in some time next year.

This is the initial sketch and we will color it in over the course of the next year.

Google has started a new service called Google Sidewiki. After looking at it, i call it as Web Annotation.
