Four years ago, Shane Warne mentioned that Sourav Ganguly will face “chin music” on the greentop Gabba pitch during India’s last tour of Australia. It was the first match out of four test match series.

Australia batted first and scored 323/10. Zaheer khan got 5-for in that first innings. Then started India’s batting. India got a decent start with Sehwag scored 45 and Aakash Chopra scored 36. Then it was time to answer back to australia what is this chin-music all about, Very very special Laxman scored 75 and Saurav Ganguly scored (DADA) scored 144.

Thank U for reminding us. But Ganguly is not captain and Kumble is not good enough as a captain to lead India to victory. There is no match for Ganguly as a captain and his offensive approach and firepower. Kumle is just defensive and too soft for Austrlian tour. I wish it was Ganguly.

Ashis,

You are correct. I agree with you. Ganguly is aggressive captain. But, i hope we do well as a unit and give up a good fight.
