Update your site privacy policy, if using Google Adsense
Hello to all fellow bloggers, I am subscribed Google Adsense Official Blog via email. I get email updates whenever they publish a new post. During this weekend, I read the email about Google Adsense updating their policy. I just glanced it and didn’t read it properly. May be i was busy or feeling lazy 
Thanks to Micheal. After reading his post, i got to know that the mail that i read in the weekend is a serious mail and need to revisit that email.
All bloggers or website owners who are using Google Adsense need to update their Privacy policy to include new information.
Why updating Privacy policy is must?
This is due to recent changes in Google Adsense. Google Adsense recently launched an interest-based type of advertising that allows advertisers to show ads based on visitor’s interactions in the past. It uses cookies to store the information.
Do update your privacy policy and if you don’t have privacy policy then create it and include this new Google policy in it. It is must requirement.
For more information about this new interest-based type of advertising, please visit the official Google AdSense Blog.
You need to update the Privacy Policy page by 8th April 2009. (if you don’t, doesn’t know what will happen.)
Refer to the guidelines on Google Advertising Cookie and Privacy Policies to find out what information that you need to include in your Privacy Policy.
I used Micheal’s Privacy policy to include that bit in Privacy Policy 
. You can copy it. However, I don’t want to be hold responsible if my policy is incomplete. Use it at your own risk!
Add the following in your Privacy Policy Page
Google’s use of the DART cookie enables it to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and other sites on the Internet. You may opt out of the use of the DART cookie by visiting the Google ad and content network privacy policy.

I remember a site that can provide an automated privacy policy somewhere.. can’t remember it now though. Maybe that same site has updated its script to generate an updated version

@Arun, I am shocked to know this. Why and how it happened. Can you send a mail asking them the reason.
I’m not sure why this happened ra! Not sure why they did this. They do not want to share any details. I even appealed, but found it’s of no use. They rejected the appeal. I’m totally disappointed after this and you can see.. I did not made a new post since the 1st week of Mar’09!:(
