I am back again with a news related to a antivirus software. Kaspersky has released Kaspersky Antivirus 2010 Betaversion.
Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2010
Kaspersky has released Kaspersky Antivirus 2010 Beta and Kaspersky Internet Security 2010. Both the popular security programs are for home and office users. I personally use Kaspersky Internet Security. It offers comprehensive protection against malware, spyware, viruses, worms, hacker attacks, spam,etc. Kapsersky Internet Security has some functionality plus Kaspersky Antivirus.
Kaspersky Antivirus 2010 Beta is for expert users.
You can download beta version of Kaspersky Antivirus 2010 from the official Kaspersky website. It is currently available only in English and Russian languages. 2010 version contains some new features and increased levels of speed, efficiency and performance as compared to Kaspersky 2009.

I wonder whether I should install this on my office machine.. it’s running AVG at the moment and I’m not really a big fan of AVG
Why not? I’m being serious because I also run AVG and if it’s not going to do the job I may have to consider something else.

@Sire, Kaspersky Internet Security is Firewall + Anti virus. You need to install either of one.. not both.
@Mike, If you have admin rights then why not, go and install it.
I am using symentec Anti virus, which is giving ultimate performance on my PC. Still i will try this trick

@Chetan, I used to use before, but it was very slow after that i stopped using it.
This is awesome, my last free trial of Kaspersky ran out, so I am going to download the Beta, and hopefully I can use that for the time being, I really loved Kaspersky when I used it!

I got Cyberdefender antivirus software, and liked the free scanner and spyware remover that I bought the upgrade and it really saved me when I was near a deadline and it blocked a bunch of virus attacks I got from some websites.
I did find out that they are a NASDAQ company, which means there is some accountability and that they sell a valid product. I will try the registry cleaner, since I had such a positive experience from Cyberdefender anti-virus.
Good to know this and am surprised that they are a NASDAQ company.
