Google has introduced Social Networking Features in GMail.

The feature name is Google Buzz which is added in GMail.

Google Buzz feature in GMail will allow users to quickly share messages, pictures, weblinks with Friends directly from GMail.

Google Buzz also works on Mobile Phones

Google has taken this step to compete with Facebook and Twitter.

Google’s new social networking feature – Google Buzz mimics some of the key features of popular social networking services like Twitter and Facebook, which are increasingly challenging Google for web surfers’ online time.

You can choose to share publicly with the world or privately to a small group of friends each time you post. And you can connect other sites you use, today there’s Picasa, Flickr, Google Reader, and Twitter, so your friends can keep up with what you’re doing around the web — all in one place.

I think all this is good for us (users). More competition will get more best out of these Big Gaints.
