So 2011 is here! Not a mere New Year. It also heralds the beginning of a decade, the second in this century. How soon hath time, just as Milton said. It seems only the other day, we were confounded with the Y2K. And, how furiously and zealously each one of us, specially computerbugs, had worked on what was then conceived a challenge. Now look how heartily we laugh it off.
Yes, the whole world enjoys a hearty laugh.
In the first decade of 21st century, we have had seen many a startling and delightful, as also sad events. The WTC blow-up almost heralded the decade. Yet many spectacular events occurred and human spirit and enthusiasm have not diminished. Netizens and citizens of humanism have built bridges of humanism, understanding and love.
So as we begin the new decade, let us not worry about 2012. Let us brim with ideas and beam out good tidings to the whole humanity.
Let human endeavors reach higher peaks.
