    How to Change User Account Picture Tile in Windows 8 Taskbar


    Windows 8 User Logon is a new feature which will use Metro UI. We shared this in on of the post. This Metro UI can be extensively seen on Windows 8 (build 7850) and may also be part of Microsoft Windows 8 Final RTM.

    Metro UI is being used when changing your Windows 8 user account picture tile from ‘My Look” settings. Below is the Step by Step guide to change User Account Picture Tile in Windows 8 Taskbar.

    How to Change User Account Picture Tile in Windows 8 Taskbar

    1. Click on your user account picture tile in the taskbar.
    2. Select “My Look”.
    3. Alternatively you can Click on Start button and navigate to Control Panel > User Accounts and Family Safety > User Accounts > Your Look.
    4. Select any picture for your user tile or choose from default ones and select OK..
    5. You should now see the picuture on the user tile on the taskbar!
