Yesterday, I got a Windows Update Notification on the system tray. Upon checking, i found that it is an update for Windows Vista Service Pack 2. I immediately started to download it.
Microsoft has released Windows Vista Service Pack 2 and Windows Server 2008 Service Pack 2. This service pack will add more stability, more security and will contain bug fixes.
It took around 1-2 hours to download. After that, it took 10-15 minutes to get installed.
Windows Vista Service Pack 2 Installation has 3 stages. After completion of two stages, the computer restarted and the third stage was completed upon booting up.
If you have Windows Vista or Server 2008 running on your PC or Laptop, I recommend you to run Windows Update and install Service Pack 2.

Avoid / Prevent Hotlinking of images or files (Credit http://www.conquerhosting.com)
Inline linking (also known as hotlinking, leeching, piggy-backing, direct linking, offsite image grabs and bandwidth theft) is the use of a linked object, often an image, from one site into a web page belonging to a second site. The second site is said to have an inline link to the site where the object is located.

I am sure most of the Website owners or Blog owners have faced this problem. Some visitor is nasty or jealous and wants to trouble by posting abusive comments or do harm to the website.
One of the solutions is to Block or Deny the access to your Blog or website.

I am assuming that you know about .htaccess file. It resides in the root directory of your website. The root directory could be /www/, /httpdocs/ or /public_html/ directories. Any of them depends on the hosting service.
Make sure you backup .htaccess file before you making any changes.

If you want to block more visitors, just keep adding the ip addresses in .htaccess file .
In this way, you can also block the automated spammer.
